Releases ADVANTAGE 2009 R2
Today RMI announced the successful release of ADVANTAGE 2009 R2. This
release includes: Mobile users, integration with Microsoft Dynamics CRM,
and enhancements to Role Centers, RMI’s role based user menus.
This latest release includes an upgrade to Microsoft Dynamics NAV
2009 R2 and is a complete upgrade of RMI’s cloud environment.
This
release fulfills RMI’s commitment to their 10 Year Update and Upgrade
schedule published early this year.
The schedule portrays the quarterly enhancements that RMI will
provide to their customers through the cloud environment.
With this release, RMI launches the previously announced
ADVANTAGE Mobile User, as well as integration with Microsoft CRM,
improvements to credit card processing, and additional Role Centers.
ADVANTAGE Mobile Users
ADVANTAGE mobile users are designed for employees on the move;
delivering just the features an employee needs.
Typical mobile users might include warehouse workers, service
technicians, and traveling sales representatives.
Mobile user processes are completed via a user interface precisely
focused on the specific tasks of the user.
Mobile users access ADVANTAGE through any number of hand held
devices including the iPad®, iPhone®, iPod Touch®, Android®, Trigger
scanners, BlueTooth® scanners and more.
Dynamics CRM
With
this release, RMI ADVANTAGE becomes compatible with Microsoft Dynamics
CRM in addition to the embedded Dynamics NAV CRM.
This addition gives users the opportunity to choose their CRM
system. The integration
with Dynamics CRM includes features that manage: customers, contracts,
items, sales orders, sales invoices, sales people and more.
Role
Centers Enhancements
The
Rental Dispatcher Role Center
is designed for the person responsible for managing the deliveries and
pickups for the rental department.
They schedule drivers, plan order fulfillment, and record daily
movements of equipment.
A
picture says a thousand words and with new Treemap and Timeline
visualizations, it is easy to spot trends and changes and react to them
quickly.
Cloud Environment Upgrade
The
upgrade to the cloud environment delivers the latest version of business
and technical applications delivered by RMI’s cloud at no additional
cost to RMI’s customers.
This includes the move to Microsoft Office 2010, Jet Reports 2010,
Windows Server 2008, Amyuni Amyuni PDF converter 4.5, and Adobe Reader X
(10.1).
ADVANTAGE R2 is available as of June 2011.
