RMI Corporation Releases New ADVANTAGE Mobile User

June 27, 2011 – Avon, CT –  RMI Corporation is launching its new ADVANTAGE Mobile user option on July 1^st.  An ADVANTAGE Mobile user interacts with ADVANTAGE through a unique and simplified interface designed specifically for the small screens found on smart phones, barcode scanners and other mobile devices.  ADVANTAGE Mobile delivers the RMI ADVANTAGE functionality essential to the job responsibilities of the employee, keeping them on task and moving either in the office, warehouse or in the field.

With this addition, RMI now offers three different user levels: full ADVANTAGE users, email and calendaring only users, and now the ADVANTAGE Mobile user.  Similar to RMI’s role based menus for full system users, ADVANTAGE Mobile increases user efficiency by tailoring each Mobile user’s screen to their specific job responsibilities, simplifying work processes.  With the intention of expanding their offering, RMI’s initial release includes nine job tasks covering the areas of inventory transfers, shipments, and service time and materials.  There are four additional job tasks slated for August 1^st, 2011. 

The ADVANTAGE Mobile user allows companies to extend the reach of their business solution, enabling them to collect more information in real time and with less effort and cost.  The Mobile user’s refined functionality is delivered at a lower cost than a full system user.  This is a great, cost-effective way to get the most out of RMI ADVANTAGE.
